In the 2016 edition, SITAWI was among the TOP 10 in twelve categories of IRRI, our best result since the first participation, in 2013. Gustavo Pimentel, Director of SITAWI, was elected as second best social and environmental Analyst for Investors in the world. Also present in the list were two other members of SITAWI staff: Frederico Seifert in 9th place and Cristóvão Alves in 13th place. Pimentel was also placed second in the best social and environmental Analyst category by the votes of quoted companies.

Beyond the individual positions, SITAWI’s performance also shows that the organization has a very well prepared team to help companies, investors and financial institutions to integrate social, environmental and governance issues into their investment decisions.

Since 2013, SITAWI evaluates the social and environmental performance of companies and financial institutions and is the only Brazilian representative in main IRRI ranking. It has a team of 14 dedicated professionals that cover more than 120 Brazilian and 30 Latin American quoted companies. Since 2015, SITAWI is the exclusive representative in Brazil for VigeoEiris, the leading agency in social and environmental research for investors and companies, covering more than 4 thousands emitters for 300 clients.

The 2016 edition of IRRI had record participation: There were 1363 investment analysts and managers from 704 voting organizations. The ranking, organized by EXTEL and SRI Connect, has existed since 2012 and has seen the participation of institutional investors, resource managers, brokers, quoted companies and research agencies specialized in environmental, social and corporative governance.
