Feira Preta´s mission is to promote the social and cultural development of the black community in Brazil by promoting entrepreneurship and supporting artists and micro entrepreneurs.
Problem: The organization lacked working capital to fund the 10th Feira Preta, which is the largest black cultural event in Latin America.
Solution: SITAWI lent R$100k to finance the event.
Social Impact: The 10th edition of the Feira Preta brought together more than 14k people in 2 days, supported 200 artisans and 105 artists, and generated 230 jobs directly and indirectly.
Feira Negra has since repaid its loan to SITAWI´s fund, and the capital continues to transform more lives!
