Funds and Programs Manager
With more than 20 years of experience in the private sector, government and civil society, Roland focuses on integrating the interests of various actors to create positive impact to enhance sustainability.
Roland served as a policy advisor to the Swiss government’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. He was a member of the Swiss delegations for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Financing for Development negotiations. He led projects for policy coherence and engagement between governments and the private sector. He worked at the World Resources Institute (WRI) as a senior associate in Finance and Development and led the Eco-Finance program of OSCIP Friends of the Earth. In addition, he has held consulting and private sector placements and served on the board of BankTrack.
Roland holds an MA in International Relations (Graduate Institute, Switzerland) and an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice (Bath, UK).
