Guilherme Teixeira is a Consultant of SITAWI, where he started his activities in 2014, working on projects related to sustainable finances in BID, Itaú, SulAmérica, Darby, Fibria, CEBDS, among others. He has experience in evaluating socio-environmental management instruments of the 8 largest Brazilian banks (accounting for more than 80% of total segment assets) and 10 of the largest Latin American banks (Peru, Colombia, Chile, Mexico). Since 2015, he has been analyzing instruments, governance and impacts of BNDES socio-environmental management, and has authored two studies of the series “Pathways to Socio-environmental Responsibility at BNDES” (“Analysis and proposals for evolution” and “Evolution from June/16 to June/17”), which includes references to practices of commercial and multilateral banks. He also carried out projects to measure intangibles in monetary value for financial sector clients (Total Cost Analysis and ESG Integration in Asset Valuation).
Prior to SITAWI, he worked for SAGE/Coppe, with research and consulting projects in sustainability management, and in L’Oréal Brasil, with financial and commercial management.
He is a Production Engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas). He made an exchange at the University of Cantabria (Spain), where he also worked on corporate social responsibility projects.
